Good afternoon SJHT members.

On Wednesday night Feb. 21, 2018, I attended the monthly SJBCA 3rd Wednesday of the month meeting down at the 4th Ward Clubhouse...

Member Turnout was good as we had 17 Bass Clubs reps in attendance.

SJBCA Officers and Bass Clubs in attendance:

- $65.00 in Dues taken in this meeting and $45.00 from Sticker Sales.

* Continue to accept lure donations (Fresh & Salt Water) for Tackle box raffle that is held at the Flea Market.
* Bibs & Jacket donation from startup company willing to donate a set to the SJBCA for Auction\drawing to raise funds for wrapping of SJBCA Trailer.

* Guest Radio Invitation WSNJ 107.7FM Friday, March 2, 2018 5pm-6pm located in the Millville, NJ area.

Executive Board members.

Committee Reports:
Audit Committee- 2018 committee to include: John Sullivan, Mike Riordan, and Robert Jack
* Will convene at 7pm at next months meeting to review and conduct annual audit report.

Scholarship Committee:
- MaryAnne Franchetta, Mike Riordan, and Me.
- Lewis stated that Mid February the new 2018 Scholarship forms and emails will be sent out to existing Central and South Jersey High Schools. Documents actually emailed out Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018.
A deadline date of May 1, 2018 will be the official due date.
- An official electronic version was sent and placed up on the SJBCA website.
- an Updated High School POC Email & POC was scrubbed and will be provided for record to the SJBCA by the March meeting.

[b]Flea Market Committee:
Jake Haas, Al Franchetta, and Stu Cohen
* Saturday, March 3, 2018 designated as official SJBCA Fishermens Flea Market to be held at the Elks Club in Milliville, NJ. (8am-1pm)
* Need Volunteers....arrive by 6:30am

CLUB Business:
* Weigh-In Trailer- Update on Jack and Wrap *Est. $1,500.00

Youth Fishing Activities:
* Nothing New to report.

March 11 at Salem Canal, Hosted by Lunker Hunters Penn/Jersey.
March 17 at Parvin Lake, hosted by 4th Ward Bass Anglers
March 18 at Union Lake, hosted by Cumberland County Bassmasters.

Note worthy announcements & Upcoming Events:

* South will be held on Feb. 24, 2018 at Batsto.

Next Meeting:SJBCA
* 8pm, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the 4th Ward Bass Anglers Club house near Parvin State Park. Meeting starts at 8pm.

Some of the items on the agenda will be:
* Review 2018 Fishermens Flea Market.
*Initial planning for the Annual Steven Steinmetz Buddy Bass Tournament on Union Lake to be held on June 17, 2018.
* Hold drawing among clubs who donated tackle towards the raffle at the Flea market for free dues for next year.

So in summary and important dates to remember:

* SJHT donated 3 Freshwater and 3 Saltwater lures towards this years SJBCA Fishermen Flea Market.
* Scholarship Apps/guidelines have been posted and forwarded to High School Guidance Counselors for a graduating Senior.
* Permitting for WMA's and other bodies of water should start to come before our Opening Tournament.

*
* Lets get out and support the SJBCA Fishermens Flea Market to be held this coming Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Millville, NJ at the Elks Lodge.

Any SJHT member is welcome to attend, meet up, or travel down with me to the monthly SJBCA meetings. The inner and outer workings is open to anyone interested in learning more about these meetings.
