SJHT's visit to the Sassafras River, MD out of Duffy's always tends to bring out the big Bass this time of year. For some there were consistent bites. For me, I caught dink after dink after Dink of Sub 15" Bass.
Anglers eager to idle the 1.5 miles out to the Buoy Markers.

Summary: The Bass appear to definitely be biting. Although not as plentiful as say 2-3 weeks ago due to the College Bass Series and FLW tournaments going out of other Marinas. Typical spots were not as productive as they're considered community holes for local and tournament anglers. In All, 11 SJHT Anglers caught 14 Bass. Giving way to a total of 39.26lbs caught overall. 7 out of 11 Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. 3 Anglers caught at least there 3 Bass Limit. The avg. weight came out to be 2.80lbs.
Great job SJHT anglers and Bryson S. on that Monster MISCELLANEOUS!
Next up is back at D.O.D. LAKE as we reopen the NJ Bass Closed Season in 3 weeks.
