Having been out of pocket a bit this past week and little B-Day celebration, work had me flying out to Bronco country where I was told I had to check out the Blue-Turf. This was pretty cool since Boise State had just beat FishGod's VA Tech Hoakies. [smilie=cry.gif] Sorry Adam!!!
One cannot beat those Mountain tops and the channels carved out by prime fishing spots.
Not knowing how much down time I would have, Me and some others ventured down and got carte blanc access to the field and the facilities... [smilie=dance.gif]
Fiesta Bowl Champion Board 2007 and auxillary bleechers..
Ironically.. a high school football game about to be played on the Blue\orange turf...
continuing warm-ups for the HS kids...
Endzone shot..
Me along the sidelines...
Up Mid-way up in the stands shot...
Horizontal 40-50yard line shot....
Now...although I was able to move around pretty easily, I kinda stuck out like a sore thumb. Ya see... not too many Brothas out in this neck of the woods. [smilie=2funny.gif] Me and my other entourage was debating about actually laying down on the turf and snapping some poses while the HS kids warmed up. LOL!! I on the other hand decided to just get in and get out without causing too much of a stir.. [smilie=crazy2.gif] The fans and I believe the kids thought we were possible recruiters...without the College affiliated logos!!!
All in all...a good short trip to and from the Mountain Time zone!
Note: Connecting on the second leg of my trip to Boise in Phoenix, Arizona, the plane was filled 3/4 will Boise State fans returning from that Monday's night game. The Capt. asked if there were any VA Tech fans onboard and apologized if they were!!! [smilie=2funny.gif] Too funny of a moment. The fans and citizens of Boise, ID showed the most class and respect to a Easterner from New Jersey. They almost had me outfitted with the Blue and Orange colors and putting my house up for sale to move out that way!!! [smilie=crazy2.gif] All I can say, a Fishing trip out west in the Grand Canyon region or mountaineous range is in order. One sees alot onboard a plane looking down...that you don't see on the ground. Pics of the below scenary would have been taken on the plane, but keeping things professional and not to stir any emotions, I created a visual inprint in my mind.
