---------------------------------------------- Round 4 of our 2017 season went down at the Infamous Hit or Miss D.O.D. Lake
Looking for a bit of Redemption after 16 of SJHT finest skunked last week at the last minute switcha-Roo ala Cooper River Park , they actually came back out for more punishment and to win not only this weeks pot but also the Roll-over pot from a week ago.
Will the results be the same or will D.O.D Lake offer up some type of Keeper(s)?
Great seeing Bama and Kyle join in this weeks fray as anglers from last week still had that funny taste in our mouths. And I'm not talking about "Rock Candy" or "Smelling what the Rock is Cooking" either!
All I can say and I believe the rest of the SJHT members can attest to the fact that we earned every bit of a bite that came our way and any miscellaneous species that found our lures.
Without further adieu, please give a big shout out to Kyle *WallHanger* S. for taking 1st and Lunker with 2 Bass weighing 5.67lbs. Kyle's Lunker went 3.60lbs. 2nd Place was won by Rob *Ram1212* M. with 1 Bass going 1.87lbs. 3rd Place was Bill *The Hammer* L. with 1 Bass going 1.69lbs. Our Miscellaneous pot was won by Bill *Troop* C. with a enormous Muskie like Pickeral going 4.79lbs. Way to go Men!!!

Note to self: D.O.D Sucks!!!!!LOL
Summary: 6 out of 17 Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. A total of 7 Bass were caught yielding 12.45lbs in Total weight. That gave way to an avg. of 1.78lbs per Bass. Many anglers did not even get a sniff or any pick ups. D.O.D was not only but the windy conditions made navigating almost unbearable. Word on the street is that All Northeast River\Flats tourney's were cancelled to due High Winds and small craft advisories. The wind was really blowing in the last hour of our tournament. Congrats to all of the fish catchers but more importantly to all who came out to battle and take home the nice pot.
Hope to see all next week down on the Northeast River out of Charlestown, MD.

Congrats Kyle on first and lunker. Way to figure them out. Lol. Congrats on 2nd Rob. I heard you caught that right near the end. Persistence pays off. Good job to all the other fish catchers and to all that fought the elements. I'm getting tired of dressing like it's winter in the spring. See you all next week.

Great report BN.....Troop, I did get him late, a little after 1pm.
BN, the water temp in that canal in the back actually touched 56 degrees when i was back there. No bites all day and then had a short and the keeper within 10 minutes of each other in the same small area.
Jeez, almost forgot ...Congrats Kyle!
