Here's a real quick synopsis and report of Chris Smiths presentation given two Saturday's ago... up at the Batsto visitor center located up near Wharton State Park in Burlington, NJ.
The WMA reporting of lakes continue to be strong and important in providing fisheries document catches per unit (CPU) as it relates to time frames fished and # of anglers on a specific body of water.
In the below threads, ill upload some of the presentation slides presented by Chris Smith.
Note: The gist of the forum was to make Central and South Jersey anglers aware of the continuing work to improve WMA's and State Parks that fall under the jurisdiction of NJ Fisheries and Wildlife. The below images reflect last years Electrofishing survey, seigning and migratory habits of shad, alewife, and other Pan fish in certain water bodies. Enjoy!
