Super Admin Posts: 2177 Joined: 09.11.09	Place: ASSUNPINK LAKE, Allentown, NJ Date: Sat. August 08, 2020 Time: 5:40am-1:40pm Weather: Semi cloudy and ovecast at the start. Comfy 68 degree start warming up to a decent 82 Degrees. This led to blue bird skies with barely any wind. Water Temps: 78 Degrees warming up to 81 Degrees by end of day Water Clarity: 2.5' Wind Gust: 5-10 mph Best Lure: Shaky heads, crankbaits, Finesse Worms, & Beavers Depths fished: 3'~5' Limit: 3 Bass ---------------------------------------------- Round 7 of the SJHT 2020 Season brings us to PINK where we were suppose to fish back in July during the NJ State Government Furlough period. I guess a month later for some doesn't make a difference. Ha Ha So ASSUNPINK LAKE presented the club with this early morning imagery!! Lets go!!!! Saturday, SJHT had 13 members came out to do battle on our 7th official tournament of the 2020 season. Without further adieu, please give a big congrats to 1st place and Lunker winner *Bryson Hell with the Delaware River* Smith for weighing in 3 Bass going 10.51lbs. Bryson's Lunker went a Whopping 5.67lbs. Brian Always in the hunt McCulley took 2nd Place with 3 Bass going 9.10lbs. 3rd Place was won by Bill Trooper Carione with 2 Bass going 4.82lbs. Miscelleneous was won by Andrew Trapper T. with a 1.07lb Pickera! ASSUNPINK LAKE TALE OF TAPE: Bryson's 1st Place and Lunker Bag: Brian's 2nd Place: Bill Trooper C. 3rd Place: Andy Trappers Miscelleneous Winner 1.07lb Pickeral: Other Anglers Bags of Bass: Mick J. Keepers: BN06 lone Keeper: Rookie Paul T. Keeper: Bill The Hammer L. Keeper: Dennis Jiggen Den T. Keeper: Brandon K. Keeper: Summary: ASSUNPINK Lake today was semi tough. Anglers caught Bass but most were below the 12" typical limit size or just fell short of the 15" Min to qualify. We did note the increase grass\weed build up toward the more Eastern sections of the Pink. One angler even noted a thick Oil Slick on the water seemingly coming from someones farm or property. So thick and the odor was pretty unbearable....according to this angler. The heavy overnight rains must have transported this slick into the Pink somehow. In All, 9 out of 13 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were only 15 total Bass caught overall. Assunpink Lake Bass gave way to total of 40.71lbs caught overall. The avg. weight came out to be 2.71lbs. 2 Anglers caught at least there 3 Bass Limit. Decent club turnout in spite of the previous nights heavy rains and strong thunderstorms. Congrats to Bryson, Brian, Troop, and Trapper on your performanaces. Next up is CARNEGIE LAKE in 1 week.** Tightlines, BN06 BN06, President
