HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL THE DADS, GRAND DADS, STEP DADS, UNCLES, BROTHERS, AND GUARDIANS. Your guidance, wisdom, and leadership is noted. SJHT celebrate all DADS who go beyond what it typically warranted.
Welcome to round #8 of the SJHT 2021 season where 17 members came out to battle back in New Jersey's COOPER River Park.
Repair of the Gates which control water flow\levels of Cooper River Park. I was unaware of this redirection\flow as the water had been super low most of the 2021 season.
I was able to make the festivities.....so here we go.

Summary: COOPER RIVER PARK was somewhat active as anglers were getting bit fast and early. There were plenty of sub 12" Bass caught but anglers had to weed through the little bites to haul a legal size into the boat. The overnight rain\downpour actually raise the water leverl a bit but the Bass were scattered throughout the water column. There was not too much action down by the one sided gates as the Delaware Tidal change only produces small size bass. The typical production was not obvious so anglers had to finesse and switch things up fo reach there limits.
In All, all 14 out of 17 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 36 Bass caught overall. The COOPER RIVER PARK Bass gave way to total of 59.62lbs caught overall. The COOPER RIVER avg. weight was 1.66lbs.
10 Anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit. Another great turnout in spite of the 2nd Heat wave of the 2021.
Congrats to Bill Leach, Bill *Trooper* Carione, Mike Del Monico, Dan Fitzpatrick, and Rob Masterson on your performances.
