Sept. 13, 2026 Time: 6:30am-2:30pm Weather: Warm, overcast, torrential rains forecasted. 73 at start warming up to 83 degrees. Water Temps: 79 degrees Water Clairity: Down to 1.5' Wind: Calm 5~10mph Best Lure: N/A Depths fished: 2'~5' Limit: 3 Bass ------------------------------------------------------------ Welcome to SJHT's 17th and final regular season event of the 2026 season. 5 dedicated SJHT anglers came out to fish NEWTON LAKE after moving from orignal Deal Lake. Let's Go! *Please give a big congrats to Dennis Just Warming Up* Tolentino for taking 1st, lunker, and MISC with 3 Bass going 3.92lbs. Jiggen Den's Lunker went 1.41lbs. Second place was won by David Snedeker with 2 Bass going 2.12lbs 3rd place was won Bill The Hammer Leach with 1 bass going .85lbs. Jiggen Dens MISC Catty went 2.24lbs. NEWTON LAKE TALE OF TAPE: Jiggen Den's 1st place, Lunker, and MISC with 3 Bass at 3.92lbs. Lunker went 1.41lbs. David's 2nd Place bag with 2 bass going 2.12lbs: Bill's 3rd place bag going .85lbs. MISC. Pics of Newton and new Kayak rental station Summary: So this week, we had 6 keeper bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was lbs. That gave way to an avg. of lbs. 3 out of 5 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There was only 1 Limit brought to the scales. Congrats to Dennis Tolentino, David Snedeker, and Bill on your performances.
