R.I.P. SJBCA Carmen Bersani- former President

I'm sad to report the passing of board member and past president Carmen Bersani yesterday. (Yes, two of our board members passed away in two days. Both only in their 60's.) Carmen was the chairperson of our annual fishermen's flea market for many years and was very instrumental in establishing our annual college scholarship (and served on the selection committee since its inception). He will be greatly missed.

Man...oh man. Carmen was not only a former President of the the SJBCA but served as the chairperson on the scholarship committe with myself.

My condolences to his famiy, his fishing club, and those that knew him.

Unbelievable! Very sad to hear. Carmen handed me my heaviest 3 fish limit for Assunpink in 2007. I will not forget that moment. R.I.P. Carmen. My prayers and condolences to family and friends.
