Sept. 07, 2024 Time: 6:30am-2:30pm Weather: N/A Water Temps: N/A Wind: N/A Best Lure: N/A Depths fished: N/A Limit: 3 Bass ---------------------------------------------- Welcome to SJHT 15th event of the 2024 Season as SJHT anglers ventured back to NJ to fish Mercer Lake. On Saturday, 4 anglers and 1 guest came out to battle with the multi specie lake known as Mercer Lake. Missing my 4th consecutive Tournament, I really wanted to be fishing on my Birthday, but other obligations were involved and I celebrated my 2nd cousins nuptials up in Easton, PA. Judging from the Tale of the Tape, things were pretty tough once again!!! One would think with the cooler air temps and low to mid cloud cover, the bite should have been on. Not sure if the Bass were affected by any cold fronts or potential rain threats coming into the area, but I for one was shocked at these results. Let's Go! Please give a big congrats to 1st place winner *Pete I'm Still Here* Ingemi with 3 Bass going 4.51lb's. 2nd Place was won by Dennis Jiggen Den Tolentino with 2 bass going 2.37lbs. Third place and Lunker was won by Scott Always here to lend a hand Schapphell wiith 1 Bass going 1.79lbs. MISC was won by Jiggen Den with a 1.83lb Pickeral. MERCER LAKE TALE OF TAPE: [b] Pete's 1st Place with 3 Bass at 4.51bs. Jiggen Den's 2nd Place and Misc. winner bag of 2 Bass going 2.37lb. Scott's 3rd Place: Mercer Lake Scenary: Summary: What another tough day! This is like the 3rd consecutive event where anglers could barely catch em up. We have 1 last regular season tournament to fish before the end of season SJHT Bass Classic where winner takes all along with the 2024 Belt. Time is ticking fellas. We had 7 bass weighed totalling of 7.95lbs This gave way to a 1.14lb. avg. 4 out of 5 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. Only 1 Misc. weighed in. Overall.... only 1 angler caught there 3 Bass Limit. Congrats to Pete Ingemi, Dennis Tolentino, and Scott Schapphell along with Marco (Pete's son) for coming out and doing your best.
