I decided to go fishing yesterday and invited my brother (Kerrry aka big856k) who is also a new member this year. We went to Alloway, but when we got there we were greeted with about 15 boats and less than 2in of water visibility (dirtiest water ive ever seen there). We decide to not put the boat in, so we head over to Parvins. We put the boat in and see that we are the 8th boat on the water. All of the boats were a little discouraging, but we decided to stay and fish anyway. After about 15 minutes my brother yells "got em", so i put my rod down and lip the fish. I throw her on the scale and it reads 4lbs 7oz. Not bad for his 1st fish of the year. We snap a couple of pics and put her back in to be caught another day. (hopefully this Sunday at the open buddy tx there, lol). We continue to fish for another 2 hours without another bite. We used jerkbaits, traps, and jigs. The fish was caught on a trap in 3ft of water. Water temp was 43.6 when the fish was caught.
