Mounting side imaging transducer on transom

Anybody out there have a tin boat with a side imaging transducer mounted on the transom. Trying to get an idea where I should mount this thing. BTW it is on my PT185

It doesnt really matter as long as its level. Left or right of the outboard is fine. It will not read on plane in a tracker. Not sure if you have a jack plate, but they make brackets to mount to them which also protect the transducer.
