R.I.P. Steve Steinmetz SJBCA Tournament Dir

It is with sadness that I pass on the passing of SJBCA Long Time Tournament Director Mr. Steve Steinmetz. Steve was an officer and integral part of the SJBCA and his many clubs that he fished with. Having known and worked internally and externally with Steve, he would give the shirt off his back for you. When it came to volunteering his time for Youth outdoor days and the SJBCA annual Flee Market held every March, Steve would be the one at the forefront of soliciting clubs for there 3 Fresh\Salt water lures, not too mention running the SJBCA Bass Bowl.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and many friends.

I did not know Steve personally, but met at a few Bass Bowls in the past. Pleasant and funny guy! He will definitely be missed by many. My condolences to the family.

Very sad to hear. Ive met him a handful of times and very nice guy.

I also only met him a few times, he was a very nice guy and a dedicated fisherman. Thoughts & prayers to the family.
