Last Reg. Season Club T. at D.O.D.
BigNasty06
Well...well...well....
Where has the 2013 season gone? It's really hard to believe that we're coming upon our last reg. season club tournament.

As we near this Sunday's tournament, I hope for those planning on coming out (whether Bass Classic elegible or not), I hope the 2013 season has been memorable, rewarding, and challenging.

Every year, we try to put forth a club schedule that is not only condusive to all work\family schedules, but we try to venture to newer bodies of water.

It's almost that time again to start brainstorming for the 2014 SJHT schedule. Should we schedule more Delaware Tournaments, Maryland Tournaments, or even venture further up North for say a 2 day event? These are some of the things that we as a club need to think about, discuss, and put out there.

I know how some anglers enjoy certain places (i.e. The Canal, Stewarts, the Squan, Assunpink, the Flats, Lums Pond, and etc.) If one really wants to maximize there skill level and bodies of water fished, the only way is to venture out of ones comfort zone and experience those possibilities.

I would all to start thinking about places to fish for the 2014 and maybe the number of times or re-visits we should possibly plan on. I know it may seem a little early to start this discussion but I would rather lay out the bodies of water and the number of times we plan on scheduling them for 2014.

There are some other things\discussions on the table as we move forward, but we can discuss somewhat more after our 2 Day Bass Classic.

Hope to see most this Sunday....Yeah... I know it's the start of the NFL season but the good games are not played till later in the evening and Monday night!!! yayyy

How about the SJBCA Bass Bowl? Is anyone interested in going to the Potomac? Are we sending a team?

I'm interested in the BassBowl if we can get 3 boats down there like last year. Size may be a challenge though, my boat def. wont be very useful down there. Or will it?

Oh yeah...my Bills are on Sunday @ 1pm so this week's TX is killing me! I vote next year to schedule this weekend on the Saturday.

Yeah...what Jimbo stated about the Bills? Grin

Regarding this being a Sunday Tournament, trust me I tried to avoid this Sunday but everything else was pretty much taken for Saturday. From what I recall, outside of pushing this to the following free weekend, it would have been pretty tough in spite of preparations for this years 2-Day Bass Classic tournament.

I would like to see more tourn. on Saturdays myself, although it's kinda tough with all the other clubs trying to make there schedules also. Just my opinion.
A little late Jackson but but hope you did better on the Canal. I heard you didn't do well at Assunpink.
