Veteran Member Posts: 697 Joined: 09.11.09	Joe's 1st place bag: Robs 2nd place bag: Notable catches of other anglers Tale of Tape With bad weather in our minds, the 12 anglers that showed up were not disappointed. The heavy rain really did not hit the DOD area! Yes there was early morning rain but not real heavy, then it was overcast late morning with peaks of sun here and there. This was one of our better tour. in recent years with 5 limits caught, 35.1 lbs of bass caught which makes that 1.67 lb. average! A big congrats to Joe Reed for finishing 1st place with 3 fish going 6.35lbs and also taking home the lunker pot with a nice 3.62 lbder!! 2nd Place went to Rob with another limit going 5.52. Robs lunker was another good fish going 3.31 lbs. 3rd place went to Dan with 3 for 5.27! Congrats to all, and all who caught fish. Rob is definitely serious, and is keeping the heat on!!LOL I believe most fish were caught in the first 2 hours of tourn. and a few here and there later in the day. Next week the battle on the CANAL!!! 5:30-12:30 Try to have exact change as it make things a bit easier and faster. Jiggen Den Edited by BigNasty06 on 08/05/2014

Veteran Member Posts: 530 Joined: 14.12.10	It was great to get back out with the hook this crew. Glad to have my boat back. Best way to fix an outboard you ask? Rip it off and go electric only Almost missed the start. Apparently my absurd amount of alarms set at 5 min intervals from 3-3:30 werent enough to wake me, cause when i rolled over and looked at the clock and it was 4:30 Caught keepers all day, culled a few times, just couldnt find a third fish bigger than 13".
