Temps warmed up to 92 degrees. Water Temps: N/A Water Clarity: N/A Wind Gust: 5-10MPH. Best Lure: N/A Depths fished: N/A Limit: 3 Bass ---------------------------------------------- Can you identify this fish? Welcome to Event#10 at MANASQUAN RES. On Saturday, 10 of SJHT finest came out to battle at The Squan. Word on the street was there was a line to get in and anglers had to patiently wait for others to launch there boats. Since I was not there (due to a death in the family), anglers reported barely any grass and fish were lurking in the deep. The Squan as everyone knows is where a member last year pulled in a 6.5lber on his only Bass on that day. So, SJHT members know there in there. Without further adieu, please give a big congrats to *Jackson Never Count me out Itches* Fu who took 1st and Lunker by weighing in 3 Bass weighing 11.61lbs. Fu' went an impressive 4.68lbs. 2nd Place was won by Brian The Redeamer McCulley with 2 bass going 4.92lbs. 3rd Place was won by Rob 3 is all I need Masterson with 3 Bass going 4.58lbs. Miscellaneous was won by Bill The Hammer Leach with a 2.95lb Pickeral. MANASQUAN RES. TALE OF TAPE: Fu's 1st Place Bag and Lunker of 3 Bass at 11.61lbs: Brian's 2nd Place 2 Bass at 4.92lbs winner: Rob's 3 Bass 3rd Place winner at 4.58lbs: Other Anglers Bass: Bills 2 Bass Keepers 3.10lbs and Misc. Winner: Scott's 1 Keeper going .84bs: Matt's 3 Keeper Bass going 3.96lb after a .50lb Penalty: Summary: Manasquan Res. always seems to fish tough this time of year. The spray treatment of the grass seem to have small affect on the normal areas anglers tend to concentrate. The bass lurking in the deeper holes seem to catch some anglers off guard while others focused away from the normal wood structures. In All, 9 out of 10 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 18 Bass caught overall. Manasquan Res. gave way to total of 35.09lbs caught overall. The avg. weight was 1.95lbs Overall.... Only 3 Anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit. Congrats to Jackson, Brian, Rob, and Bill L. on your performances. Next up is SALEM CANAL next week.** Tightlines, BN06 BN06, President
