First off, I would like to thank all 22 Team members for coming out this 4th of July Holiday weekend and partaking in our 7th annual Union Lake Bass Buddy tournament. Without you guys...it makes what SJHT do even more worth while. Your presence, patience (i.e. me running a bit late this morning 5:10am), determination, and above all your will to battle on another tough day is a testament to your Time on the Water and your fishing excellence. You made this day a great success!
Second big shout outs to my fellow SJHT volunteer angling mates Brian "Bass Hopper", James "Jimbo" Martino, and Bill "FishingTroop" Carione for assisting myself in the AM boat livewell checks, registration, dispensing of numbered paints sticks, and collection of fees. The PM help also did not go un-noticed and I truly thank you Men!!!

There you have it. Another pretty good turnout and payout for SJHT 7th Annual Yearly Union Lake Open Buddy event. Thanks men and I hope the food added a little homely feeling to the event.
Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July and Good luck to those fishing down on the Canal on Monday!!!!
In my second week of therapy, lot of pain, and just seems like it's gonna take forever, but from what therapists and my surgeon says it's a slow healing process. I even rigged up my own pulley exercise out on the deck just like they have at my therapy sessions to try and get this shoulder stretched out. I can't believe the pain associated with this. But it is normal. Everyday it gets just a bit, and I mean just a bit better and easier to do some of my exercises. I'am stll hoping to make Salem Canal tourn. but would like to fish as a back boat rider if any seats are available at that time. Just to get out on the water, and maybe wet a line or two or three or......... LoL But who knows, will have to see what Dr. says.
