Looks like the gang has been keeping busy catching those elusive summer time bass. While the cat has been away.....the mice have been at play eh? I'll start this report\update with a brief synopis of where has BN been and then I'll start another thread with a full trip report... First off, lets just say our amigo's down in Texas are doing well and they send there love. BN at the Alamo and keeping the peace with his Hombre's..... 2nd shot......BN meeting up with *SJHT Hall of Fame Member George DieHard* Stanch out in New Braunfels, TX. More to come on the above notation...... Back to the Stone Tavern update. On Sunday, August 05, 2012, SJHT and its members traveled a bit North to fish WMA Stone Tavern Lake. On this date, 12 members and 2 guest came out to partake in the fun. There were 27 bass caught overall. Total weight came to 32.17lbs. This gave an avg. bass weight of 1.19lbs*. Angler reported catching many dink size fish and some crazy hits to there lures by some monster Arse Bass\pickeral species. Stone Tavern always is a fun place to wet a line and SJHT anglers were not disappointed. Without further adieu, lets give a big shout out and congrats to Bill The Hammer* L. for taking 1st place with 3 Bass going 4.07lbs. 2nd Place was won by *Rob Ram1212* M. with 3 bass going 3.72lbs. Followed closley by a .01lbs deficit, Al C. took 3rd with 2 Bass going 3.71lbs. Lunker was won by Rookie Jim Murphy T. going 2.96lbs! Congrats to all of you guys and especially to rookie member Jim Thompson for finally cashing some $$$ with your winning lunker bass. Fantastic stuff men!!! If members have pics of the weigh in, please post up. Otherwise, Here is the Stone Tavern Tale of the Tape 08-05-12: Folks....again sorry for the delay. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
