Good day everyone. Finally back in the saddle after an unexpected trip down to the Tampa Bay Florida region.

Once again, SJHT welcomes all NEW members and all returning veteran members. We have approx. 4 Days till we kick off the 2016 Season.

A few quick house keeping things to clear out the way. To make launching easy and painless, before putting your boat in the water, please look for myself, Rob, or Joe Reed to perform live well checks. If not available, please have a fellow Club member certify that your boat has been inspected. With the increase in higher horse power boats/engines, we're gonna somewhat stagger allow for the smaller boats to be at a safe distance. The last thing we want to see is someone boats get swamped and capsized.

For the newer members, upon arrival at the boat ramp, get your boat ready in the designated parking spot slips, seek out myself or Rob with $15 entry fee, and then back down into the water and finish making any final adjustments on the water. Try to stay within a 30 yard area until the horn/whistle sounds.

If one should run into difficulty while on the water or in case of an emergency, make sure you have my cell#, Robs, and Joe Reeds. This is our initial season kickoff and we want things to run smoothly. Remember, all who will be running outboards should be wearing a PFD for self and any guest member onboard.

Check back here as I will be posting more info between now and Friday.
