Welcome to Event#15 at the STONE TAVERN LAKE.
Today, 12 of SJHT finest and 1 Guest came out to battle the TAVERNS infamous small to mid size bass. Always good for Quantity and smaller size keepers, Stone Tavern fished very tough for most. Things were so tough, 1/4 of field left early.
Without further adieu, please give a big congrats to Rob *Bring the kid with ya* Masterson on winning who took 1st and Lunker by weighing in 3 Bass weighing 5.93lbs. Rob's Lunker went a nice 2.92lbs. 2nd Place was won by 2022 Points Leader Brian *Mr. U-Haul Tow Vehicle* McCulley with 3 bass going 5.18bs.3rd Place was won by Jackson *Dog Days of Summer* Fu with 3 Bass going 3.64lbs. Summary: The Dog days of summer are here ladies and gentlemen. If the results of the last month hasn't proven to one that the bites are less and less, fish have somewhat gone deep and not in the usual spots we're accustom to then you must fish outside of NJ or leave on Lake Champlain. LOL. It's been a while since I can recall many anglers leaving early from an event, but when it's tough....it's tough out here.
In All, 7 out of 13 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were only 15 Bass caught overall. STONE TAVERN gave way to total of 21.49lbs caught overall after a 1 dead Bass penalty. The avg. weight was 1.43lbs
Overall.... only 3 Anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit. While the remaining anglers did there very best to put at least 1 bass in the Livewell.
Congrats to Rob *With his kid Andrew as his Lucky Charm*, Brian, and Jackson Fu on your performances.
