Air temps ranging 87 degreesto 90 Degrees Water Temps: N/A Water Clarity: N/A Wind: N/A Best Lure: N/A Depths fished: N/A Limit: 3 Bass ---------------------------------------------- Welcome to our SJHT 11th event of the 2023 Season where SJHT anglers traveled back down to familiar water ways. The bayo A.K.A. the CANAL. [b]Let's get to it. On Saturday, 8 of SJHT finest came out to see what the Canal had to offer up. Unfortunately, the bite was tough and the Tale of the Tape shows it. Without further adieu, please give a big congrats for this weeks 1st place and Lunker winner *Dennis Jiggen Den* Tolentino sassin* with 3 Bass going 5.68lbs 2nd Place was won by Jackson You can run but can't hide Fu with 3 bass going 4.78lbs 3rd Place was won by Rookie Newcomer Kirk Putting in work Brockenbrough with 3 Bass going 4.20lbs. Miscellaneous was won by another Rookie Mike Every dog has it s day Pilles with a Snakehead going 2.91lbs SALEM CANAL TALE OF TAPE: Jiggen Den'Ss 1st Place and Lunker Bag of 3 Bass at 5.68lbs with Lunker going 2.46lbs: [b]Jackson Fu's 2nd Place bag of 3 Bass at 4.78lbs: Kirk Brockenbrough 3rd Place winner at 4.20 lbs: Mike Pilles MISC. Snakehead Winner at 2.91lb Summary: The Canal appeared to be a tough bite. Many anglers reported not even a bite or sniff all day. There were not that many Bass caught. Anglers caught a total of 9 Bass....giving way to 14.66lbs . The avg. weight was 1.63lbs. Overall.... 3 anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit. 3 out of 8 caught at least 1 Bass.
