David Snedeker taking a Chill pill from the heat:
Summary: Newton Lake seem to be producing and somewhat active. Unfortunately, I couldn't make this event but I was there in spirit. Judging by the Tale of the Tape, anglers caught many bass but getting that kicker seemed elusive.
Overall.... 6 anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit. 8 out of 9 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 23 Bass caught weighing a totla of 41.20lbs. Giving way to a 1.79lb Avg. We had 2 dead bass overall. Not bad for over a 100 Degree weather day.
Congrats to Rob Masteron, Jackson Fu, and Mike Del Monico on your perforrmances.
Next up is Salem Canal in about 3 weeks.
