Made the paper

Senior Member Posts: 361 Joined: 29.07.10	I was fishing at Giampitro the other day when i saw a guy taking pictures of me. i went over to see what the heck he was doing, and he told me he was from the Daily Journal and that he wanted to put my pic in the paper. I said sure and gave him my name and address. i kept fishing and caught 3 pickeral all around 2.5lbs on a megabass jerkbait. i thought the photographer was full of crap until i woke up the next morning to several texts from people saying they saw me in the paper. i also bought a new(used) boat this winter, and of course the one day i decide to used the old junker i get my pic put in the paper.lol. the new ride is a 1988 basstracker 1800FS (fiberglass) w/ a 150hp Merc. so far i got her up to 59mph on the Maurice River. its not the nicest or newest boat, but it sure is a big upgrade from that piece of junk i used all last year. here's a link to the article: http://www.thedai.../OUT-WATER

That was nice of you to pose for the pic!! BTW.. What lure were you throwing? How deep is that place? I've heard there are some nice Bass in that body of water. Thanks in advance, BN06 I was using a Megabass Vision95 jerkbait in pro-blue2 color, thats what i caught the snot rockets on. Giampietro Park Pond has a max depth of about 4.5ft at normal water level, but 90% is 3ft or less. the lake is only 11 acres, so its definitly not big enough for a club tx. also there were several 6 lb+ bass caught out of there last year. im not sure how there are fish that big in there, cuz it is full of duck and goose crap lol. if anybody is interested in going there, it is on the corner of Licoln Ave and Landis Ave in Vineland.
