Semi cloudy with the winds later in the day. Temps warmed up to 80 degrees. Winds were gusting 10-15mph at times Water Temps: 57.5.0~63.0. Degrees Water Clairity: down to 1.5' Wind: 10-15mph Best Lure: Rattletraps, Crankbaits, and Jerk Baits Depths fished: 5.0'~9.5' Limit: 3 Bass ------------------------------------------------------------ Welcome to SJHT's 3rd event of the 2026 season. 8 die hart SJHT anglers came out to battle on Easter weekend in a summer like feel 80 degree day. Anglers were ready to rock and roll with the steady weather leading up to this event. Unfortunately for most, the bass were not as active as we would have liked. Let's Go! *Please give a big congrats to Jackson The Assassin* Fu on taking 1st place and MISC with 3 Bass going 4.06lbs. Fu's MISC was a Crappie going .96lbs. Second place and Lunker was won by Bill The Hammer Leach with 1 Bass going 2.78lbs. Third place was taken by BN06 with 1 bass going for 2.68lbs. STONE TAVERN LAKE TALE OF TAPE: [b]Jackson Fu 1st place and MISC with 3 Bass at 4.06lbs Bill Leaches 2nd Place bag and Lunker at 2.78lbs: BN06's 3rd place bag going 2.68lbs:/b] [b]Other SJHT anglers bags: Andy Trapper Trapani 1 Bass going 2.10lbs: Rob's Masterson MISC offering: Stone Tavern Floating dock Summary: Wow, what a gorgeous day to be out on the water. The wind cooperated and the sun shine was out and about. The bass unfortunately did not want to bite consistantly. So this week, we had 6 keepers size bass weighed in. This was 5 les Bass than the previous week. The total weight of all bass was 11.62lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 1.94lbs. 4 out 8 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. STONE TAVERN Lake seemed very sleep suddle today. Anglers missed some Bass that came off on the side of the boat, whereas most barely got a nibble. Looking at the Tale of the Tape, one can surmise the bite was pretty non-existant. Congrats to Jackson Fu, Bill Leach, and BN06 on your performances.
