July 12, 2026 Time: 5:30am-1:30pm Weather: Warm, muggy start with clear skies. 75 degree early morning rising to a hot 88 degrees Water Temps: 80.5 degrees and varying up to 82 degrees Water Clairity: Partly clear down to 1.5' but pretty consistent throughout various locations. Wind: 5~10 mph Best Lure: N/A Depths fished: 2.0'~7.0' Limit: 3 Bass ------------------------------------------------------------ Welcome to SJHT's 10th event of the 2026 season. 6 dedicated SJHT anglers came back out to fish D.O.D Lake on a rare Sunday Tournament due to the SJ Youth Outdoor Day held the previous Day. Working on less than 4.5hrs sleep, I showed up and it the results showed. LOL Let's Go! *Please give a big congrats to Rob Pooty Tang* Masterson in squeaking out 1st place with 3 Bass going 5.31lbs. Second place was won by Dennis Damn Scale Tolentino with 3 Bass going 5.28lbs 3rd place was won by Bill The Hammer Leach with 3 bass going 4.18lbs. D.O.D LAKE TALE OF TAPE: Rob's 1st place bag with 3 Bass at 5.31lbs Jiggen Den's 2nd Place bag with 3 bass going 5.28lbs: Bill's 3rd place bag going 4.18lbs David Lunker going 2.02lbs and 2 Bass bag going 3.87lbs Summary: Somewhat of a tougher bite for myself. No excuses though. Anglers figured them out and actually culled multiple times. I got a couple of small bites, but nothing fully taking my crankbaits, beavers, or spinnerbaits. Air temps along with the slight wind was ideal. So this week, we had 12 keeper size bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was 19.97lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 1.66lbs. 5 out of 6 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were a total of 3 Limits brought into the scales. Congrats to Rob, Jiggen Den, Bill, and David on your performances. Next up is SALEM CANAL next week.** Tightlines, BN06 BN06, President
