Weather: Warm...not as humid as last week. Morning start going 72 Degrees. Warming up to a reasonable 91 Degrees with Blue bird skies....
Water Temps: Varying 79 Degrees. Rising up 84.5 Degrees in various sections.
Water Clarity: Less than 1.0'. Somewhat dirty
Wind Gust: 5-10 MPH
Best Lure: Crankbaits, and finesse worms
Depths fished: 2'~12'
Limit: 3 Bass at 12"

In addition to our fantastic weather day start.....
anglers caught various species and recorded numerous sub 12" Bass and other species at Mercer Lake park.
The above image is the type of day Matt R. had along with some other anglers catching bass over 5lbs.
14 SJHT anglers came out to do battle at Mercer Lake and Battle they did.
Lets get at it. Without further adieu, lets give a big congrats to Brian *SubFish* M. for taking 1st place with 3 Bass going 10.50lbs. 2nd Place and Miscelleneous was won by Matt *The Tiger Muskie Master* R. with 3 Bass going 9.66lbs. Matt's Miscell. measured over 37" had a 17" girthestimated to weigh over 20lbs as the handheld scale Max out at 15lbs. 3rd Place was won by Rookie newcomer Tom G. with 2 Bass going 7.30lbs. Overall LUNKER was won by [b]Wayne *Moe* with a Giant 5.79lber caught less than 10 minutes into the tournament.

Never knew Mercer Lake had a restricted area during this time of year....

Summary: What a Day! Can you say WOWZA! Matt had a visitor from the deep in JAWS. Moe caught a giant LUNKER within 1st 10 minutes. Others caught Bass over 5lbs themselves. I caught every other species beneath Mercer Lake along with dinks and still couldn't end up in the MONEY. MOTHRA even made a visit. LOL!
In All, 11 out of 14 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were a total of 22 Bass caught overall. Giving way to a total of 58.02lbs caught overall. 4 Anglers caught at least there 3 Bass Limit. The avg. weight came out to be 2.64lbs.
Mercer Lake proved once again to be a premiere fishery. Giant Muskie's, Giant Bass, crappie's, catfish, sunfish, and numerous Perch. The proof is in the Pics. LOL!!!! That's all I have.
Great job SJHT anglers. Brian, Matt, Tom, and Moe on your personal catches.
