On your mark...get set.... GO!!!!!!!!!
These are the images that presented the 14 SJHT Anglers as they navigated Stone Tavern and this Clear water.
With the weather forecasted to be Hot and Steamy, Anglers made sure they kept hydrated, hid in the shade when time permitted, and of course yelled at the Yakers who nicely cut in front of them while fishing a point. LOL. Wish I could make this up.
Once again....For some the bites started out fast and furious and then as the day went along, it somewhat died down for some. There were a lot of sub 12" Bass caught and not many Misc. fish today.
My keeper bites occurred somewhat early but I lost a 4lb Monster that shook off at the rear of the boat. Talking about Disappointed…..I had to get down on my knees and bite my tongue...as my words were not suitable for PG-13 audiences. It was definitely fun but wish I could have sealed the deal.
Without further adieu, please give a big congrats and shout outs to Brian *SubFish* M. for 1st place and Lunker with 3 Bass going 7.76lbs. Brian'sLunker went 3.07lbs. Joe Reed took 2nd Place with 3 Bass going 5.27lbs. 3rd Place was won by Carlos J. with 2 Bass going 4.59lbs. MISCELLENOUS was won by Tom G. with a CatFish tipping the scales at 2.77lbs.

Summary: Stone Tavern today showed signs of fishing Big and fishing for avg. 2lb Bass. The ultra clear water and grass made figuring this place out a little challenging but in the end FUN!
As the day went on...for me the bites got a little tougher especially as one venture around to unproductive spots. There were plenty of bait fish swimming about and I believe there was a full moon last night....which could have made the bite even tougher.
In All, 12 out of 14 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were a total of 27 Bass caught overall. The same identical amount like CARNEGIE Lake last week. These Bass gave way to a total of 46.62lbs caught overall. The avg. weight came out to be 1.73lbs. 5 Anglers caught at least there 3 Bass Limit.
Way to fish tough SJHT anglers. Brian, Joe Reed, and Carlos..Way to figure them out. Tom G. way to take the Misc.
