---------------------------------------------- Welcome to SJHT 3rd event of the young 2024 Season where most wished they would have stayed in bed or been near a warm, fire place with a cup of Hot Chocolate. SJHT anglers showed up to battle Rainbow Lake but the external elements with the early chilly air temps, moderate wind which ended up getting worse after 10am, along with the Bass not cooperating.
RAINBOW Lake is typically good this time of year, but I believe with the changing Barometric pressure, high water/flow coming down from the Parvin Lake area, and just a tough bite, the BASS were not having it.
Let's get to it.
Please give a big congrats to 1st place and Lunker winner Pete *The Professor* Ingemi with 2 Bass going 5.23lbs. Pete's Lunker went 2.67lbs. 2nd Place was won by Rob *Barely got a Limit* Masterson with 3 bass going 5.07lbs. There was No 3rd Place due to the Bass not cooperating. I didn't studdar.
RAINBOW LAKE TALE OF TAPE:
Pete's 1st Place and Lunker with 2 Bass at 5.23lbs and Lunker going 2.67lbs.
[b]Rob's 2nd Place Winner bag of 3 Bass going 5.07 lbs:
Summary: Rainbow Lake definitely fickled most that came out today. If I could have left early, trust me, I would have. LOL. Judging by the Tale of the Tape, tough was an understatement.
There were not many keepers caught. Out of 8 Anglers, there were only 5 Bass caught....giving way to 10.30lbs . The avg. weight was 2.06lbs. per Bass.
Overall.... Only 1 angler caught there 3 Bass Limit. 2 out of 8 anglers caught at least 1 Bass.
Congrats to Pete Ingemi, Rob Masterson, and Dennis Tolentino on your perforrmances.
Next up is UNION LAKE next week.
