Sept. 14, 2024 Time: 6:30am-2:30pm Weather: Clear, early morning fog with Temps approx. 63 Degrees warming up to 82 Degrees. Water Temps: 73.5~75.0 Wind: Slight 5-10MPH Best Lure: Deep diving Crankbait Depths fished: 3.5'~8.5' Limit: 3 Bass ---------------------------------------------- Welcome to SJHT 16th event and last regular seaon tournament of the 2024 Season. SJHT anglers ventured back to where the 2024 season began. D.O.D Lake. On Saturday, 5 anglers came out to battle in the last regular season tournament on our 2024 scheduled. This was my 1st time back in nearly one month. Talking about Psyched!! Let's Go! Please give a big congrats to 1st place and Lunker winner *Rob2024 SJHT AOY* Masterson with 3 Bass going 3.58lb's. 2nd Place was won by Dennis Jiggen Den Tolentino with 3 bass going 3.36lbs. Third place was won by Rashawn BN06 wiith 2 Bass going 2.74lbs. MISC was also won by BN06 with a .67b Pickeral. D.O.D LAKE TALE OF TAPE: [b] New Crowned 2024 AOY Winner: Rob's 1st Place and Lunker with 3 Bass at 3.58lbs. Jiggen Den's 2nd Place and 2024 Iron Man winner bag of 3 Bass going 3.36lb. BN06's 3rd Place and Misc. Pickeral Winner: Other Anglers Scott S. solo 1.13lbs: D.O.D Lake Scenary: Summary: The bite was steady earlier in the AM but slowed down tremendously as the sun got high overhead. I had my first 2 keepers by 7:30am. I got other bites later in the day followed by a couple of dinks and my Misc. pickeral. Other anglers also found it hard to catch any decent size Bass. We had 9 bass weighed totalling of 10.81lbs This gave way to a 1.20lbs. avg. 4 out of 5 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. Only 1 Misc. weighed in. Overall.... 2 anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit. Congrats to SJHT 2024 AOY Rob Masterson, 2024 Ironmen Dennis Tolentino, and Rashawn "BN06" for coming out and doing your best.** Next up is the SJHT 2 Day Classic at Alloway Lake and Cooper River Park in 2 weeks.
