June 28, 2025 Time: 5:30am-1:30pm Weather: Humid, Very warm start...early temps rising into the 90's Water Temps: N/A Wind: N/A Best Lure: N/A Depths fished: 3'~5' Limit: 3 Bass ------------------------------------------------------------ Welcome to SJHT's 9th official tournament of 2025 where 6 committed SJHT anglers came out to compete at the COOP. The weater forecast was in the High 90's. Due to a family emergency, I had to bail at the last hour. . Let's Go! *Please give a big congrats to Dennis Jiggen Den* Tolentino for taking 1st and Lunker with 3 Bass going 9.25lbs. His Lunker went a nice 3.88lbs Jackson The Assassin Fu took 2nd place with 3 Bass going 6.67lbs. Bill The Hammer Leach took 3rd place and MISC with 3 Bass going lbs. 5.88lbs. Bill's MISC catfish went 1.68lbs. COOPER RIVER PARK TALE OF TAPE: [b]Jiggen Den's 1st & Lunker Place with 3 Bass at 9.25lbs Jackson Fu's 2nd place bag going 6.67lbs: Bill's 3 Bass going 5.88lbs Jeff Zeitz 3 Bass going 5.81bs SJHT Hall of Famer Wayne "Moe" Neville making a guest return 3 bass going 5.45lbs: Old man Gary's Carp: Summary: On a day in which I had planned on fishing, life has a way of throwing more curve balls. Members came out eager and excited about fishing the Cooper because of the numerous Bass that can be caught here. Everyone was getting bit including Old Man Gary catching a Carp. LOL. So this week we had 15 Bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was 33.06lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 2.20llbs. 5 out 6 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 5 limits weighed in. Fish were caught throughout the day and anglers reported culling several times. All in all, a very good day on the Cooper River Congrats to Jiggen Den, Jackson Fu, and Bill the Hammer Leach on your performances.
