Summary: Overall many anglers caught Bass but finding and not losing those kicker fish seemed to be a problem. Many anglers reported losing giants while some reported once that sun got up and high with barely any wind, it became tougher. According to some, Union Lake has been fishing pretty good with good bags over the last 3 weeks. The waters Temps were in the low 80's with mild visibility. Fish were caught all throughout the day. We only had No fish fatalities today thanks to our Oxygenated livewell tanks and anglers taking the necessary care of there catch. Great job anglers taking care of your fish today. There were a total 45 largemouth and 3 smallmouth Bass weighed in at 88.76lbs. This avg. out to 1.85lbs per bass. There 6 limits caught today. 12 out of 23 teams weighed at least 1 bass. 11 boaters did not weigh-in. Some bass were released before weighing in.
Thank you to all who took time out/from there 4th of July weekend celebration to come out and continue support SJHT in there 22nd Annual event.
Special Thanks goes to my trusty and supportive staff Joe Reed, Jackson Fu, David Snedeker, Bill Leach and Jiggen Den for coming out and backing me up. Couldn't do this without you guys.
