Welcome to SJHT's 11th official tournament of 2025 where 7 committed SJHT anglers came out to compete on the PINK. Upon arrival there was another Non-SJBCA club also putting in. Rippin Lipz of Jameburg, NJ. Not sure of there permit status, we all made it work quite seamlessly. Seemed like a decent backyard club honoring one of there fallen members who recently passed away. Prayers and condolescences to the family and friends of this angler.
After arriving and putting in ourselves, anglers headed to their cjhosen spots and immediately started catching there 15" Bass. One angler reported having 2 Bass by 6AM while others included myself caught bass, but of the Sub 15" variety. With most of previous grassy areas wiped out, anglers had to search high and low for patches of grass and other terrain changes. Those that figured that part out ended up weighing Bass in the end.
Let's Go!

Summary: Another fun day on the PINK. The bites were there for most. Even myself but losing them along the side of the boat don't count. LOL. Although I personally didn't catch a keeper, it felt good to be once again back on the water with my guys. Just blessed to continue to be able to leisurely get outdoors and do what I love. Would have love to catch more fish, but it wasn't in the cards for today.
Most anglers caught Bass right out the gates. After a small launch delay, anglers reported losing giants multiple times in the early going. The
So this week we had 13 Bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was 37.91lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 2.92llbs. 6 out 7 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 2 limits weighed in. Fish were caught throughout the day. All in all, a very active day on the PINK.
Congrats to Jiggen Den, Rob M., and Bill Leach on your performances.
