Welcome to SJHT's 13th official tournament of 2025 where 7 committed SJHT anglers came out to compete at the SQUAN. Having to seat this event out, I truly was interested in the final weights and they didn't disappoint.
Let's Go!
Please give a big congrats to the Leading 2025 AOY angler Dennis *Jiggen Den* Tolentino on once again ending up in the winners circle. Scott *Mr. Retired* Schappell took 3rd place with 3 Bass going a nice 6.85lbs. Bill *The Hammer* Leach took MISC with a .26lb Perch.
MANASQUAN RES. TALE OF TAPE:
[b]Jiggen Den's 1st and Lunker winner with 3 Bass at 11.43lbs
Rob Masterson's 2nd place bag going 7.37lbs:
Scott's S. 3 Bass going 6.85lbs
Other anglers catches:
Jackson Fu's 3 Bass going 5.46lbs
Bill Leach's Solo Bass
Summary: The SQUAN seemed to be producing on Saturday. Not sure if it's because of the steady weather pattern, with no cold front's or High pressure to the North, but most anglers were able to get on them.
So this week we had 13 Bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was 31.93lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 2.46llbs. 5 out 7 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 4 limits weighed in. Fish were caught throughout the day. All in all, a very active day on the SQUAN.
Congrats to Jiggen Den, Rob Masterson, Scott Schappell, and Bill Leach on your performances.
