Aug. 23rd, 2025 Time: 6:00am-2:00pm Weather: Comfortable slight cool 62 degree early morning start warming up to about 84 degrees. Water Temps: 68.5~70.5 Water Clairity: N/A Wind: N/A Best Lure: N/A Depths fished: N/A Limit: 3 Bass ------------------------------------------------------------ Welcome to SJHT's 14th official tournament of 2025 where 6 OG's SJHT anglers came out to compete at Union Lake. Recovering from post-op surgery, I had to sit this outing out, however I was able to make the weigh in. Let's Go! *Please give a big congrats to Jackson The Assassin* Fu on taking 1st place with 3 Bass going 4.06lbs. David Mr. Never a Day off Snedeker took 2nd place with 3 Bass going 3.20lbs. Dennis Jiggen Den Tolentino took 3rd place and Lunker with 1 Bass going 2.23lbs Bill The Hammer Leach took MISC with a 4.80lb CatFish. UNION LAKE TALE OF TAPE: [b]Jackson Fu's 1st place with 3 Bass at 4.06lbs David Snedeker 2nd place bag going 3.20lbs: Jiggen Den's 3rd Place and Lunker going 2.23lbs Other anglers catches: Bill's Bag and Misc winner: Trapper's Solo Bass SJHT Hall of Famer Wayne Moe Sr. Neville solo bass: Summary: The "U" as some would call it was pretty stingy today. Union lake did not produce or give up any Bigguns, but anglers still battled till the end. Judging by the low weights and lunker, catching Mobey Dick seemed very elusive. So this week we had 10 Bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was 12.74lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 1.27llbs. 6 out 6 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were 2 limits weighed in. Anglers reported barely any action up in the creek area. With water temps starting to drop and from the after effects of Hurricane Erin, anglers saw fish on there depth finders, but they wouldn't cooperate.
