Veteran Member Posts: 527 Joined: 13.11.09	Took an adventure to the infamous U with Dan the Man. This was my first time there and found it to be very interesting. We were greeted with sunny skies, warm temps, with water temps in the mid sixties, sustained 15-20mph winds, and locking my keys and phone in the car. Used Dan the Man's phone to call the bride at 6:45am to come and unlock the car. This made her very happy. While waiting we fished the islands across from the ramp. In the first 10 minutes I get smashed on the Heavy Hitter, but don't hook up. Dan hooks up with a decent slime dart. The bride shows up with the keys, tells me how intelligent I am and leaves. We noticed a lot of fish in the 7ft range so back off the shoreline and start crankin' immediately hook up with a perch, a little further down hook up with the 1st bass on an SK Flatsider. We decide to hit the pad fields where Dan is getting his frog smashed but can't hook up. I make a cast into a point where we get this next chunk on a trigged beaver. After that called it a day. Found out alot about this place and hope to get there a few more times
