NJ Fish and Wildlife Bureau will be hosting there annual forum up at Batsto Village near Wharton State Park this Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10am.
Chris Smith will be the featured speaker and he will be discussing lake projects, past and present along with giving reports on lake sampling and BASS growth development.

On Sunday, February 22, 2015 beginning at 10am till 1pm, our last year Union Lake Open Buddy Tournament sponsor "BlackWater Sports Center" will be hosting all BassNJ.com members and clubs with there annual Bass tackle Sale\gathering. There will be give-aways, door prizes, food, beverages, along with a meet and greet of old and new on the water anglers. Jeff Sr and Jeff Jr. along with the Blackwater staff has always made this a premiere event. I hope to see many of our members there for some decent deals and to shoot the chit....

Looking forward to the report by Chris Smith, he sure knows his stuff,

I wonder how the smallmouth population is doing in DOD? itd be great to hear about that

Yeah Mike,
I'm quite sure Chris will shed some light on D.O.D smallie population status.

Just a note, Chis is now working out of the Assunpink Lake WMA office and is no longer located over at the Oaks Pond office in Winslow NJ. He still manages\covers the South Jersey area but he now manages a much larger additional area in the Central Jersey areas.

The forums are always good especially regardiing the bodies of water we fish every weekend.
