Place: UNION LAKE, Millville, NJ
Date: Sat August 22, 2026
Time: 6:00am-2:00pm
Weather: Overcast, Warm, humid, and distance showers approaching.
Water Temps: 80.2 Degrees fluncuating near 78.5 degrees
Water Clairity: Semi Clear down to 1.5'
Wind: Calm 5~10mph
Best Lure: Small swimbait, deep diving crankbait, and finesse baits
Depths fished: 2'~5,5'
Limit: 3 Bass

Welcome to SJHT's 15th event of the 2026 season. 5 dedicated SJHT anglers came out to fish UNION LAKE on day forecasted to have heavy rain and possible winds. Well, we only got a little bit of rain which actually turned the fish on and ended up with several fish caught..

Please give a big congrats to Dennis "Jiggen Den* Tolentino for taking 1st place with 3 Bass going 4.55lbs. Jiggens Den's Lunker went 2.23lbs. Second place and Lunker was won by David Snedeker with 1 Bass going 2.52lbs 3rd place was won BN06 with 2 bass going 2.32s. MISC was won by Scott Schappell with a decent Catfish going 2.33lbs. Scott also won the rollover MISC Pot from Assunpink Lake a couple of weeks ago.

Summary: So this week, we had 7 keeper bass weighed in. The total weight of all bass was 10.30lbs. That gave way to an avg. of 1.47lbs. 4 out of 5 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. There were a total of 1 Limit brought to the scales.

Congrats to Jiggen Den, David, Scott, and BN06 on your performances.

Next up is MERCER LAKE this week coming.
